About the Presenters:
Taylor Choy is the Operations Manager at Green City Market. Taylor is a first generation Asian-American who is passionate about supporting local food systems that prioritize equitable access to sustainable foods. Additionally, Taylor has several years of experience in food sustainability, waste reduction and community development through her work with Garden Collage, Center for Urban Research and Learning, School of Environmental Sustainability (formally IES), and the Chicago Foundation for Women. At Green City Market, she works directly with farmers and vendors at our markets and e-commerce programs.
Angela Taylor is the Wellness Coordinator at Garfield Park Community Council. She manages the 32-member Garfield Park Garden Network and the Garfield Park Neighborhood Market and leads other wellness related projects. Each summer, Angela works with up to ten local youth through the Youth Garden Corps, a paid internship working in Garfield Park Gardens.
