About

Originally founded by Chinese immigrants, Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) has evolved into a pan-immigrant social services agency serving clients from over 40 countries. The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) serves small businesses in Chicago, the suburbs and exurbs. Our unique value is being the only Asian American-led SBDC in the State of Illinois and having a homebase within a larger social service agency serving 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation immigrants and refugees. SBDC at CMAA provides one-on-one, no-cost business advice and management assistance. We specialize in assistance with the development of business plans, help accessing market information and the development of marketing plans, assistance with accessing business financing programs (grants and loans) and more.
