In this webinar the presenter will cover the parts to include in a company and industry overview, break down the different sections of the overview including what a company does, major offerings and solutions the company delivers, key segments or customers group the firm pursues, and the core differentiators between the company and its competitors. The presenter will also examine an industry’s composition, and use a SWOT analysis as a strategy tool to assess both the company and the industry’s potential for profitability and sustainability. Equipped with this framework, a business founder or owner will be able to articulate in a business plan his or her business overview, describe fluently the industry the company competes in, and assess the firm’s viability in the short and long-term.
