Garfield Park Community Council

The Garfield Park Community Council is a community-building organization made up of residents and allies working together to develop leaders and create programs that build a vital Garfield Park community.

The Garfield Park Community Council addresses business development through its four inter-related priority areas of resident organizing, housing, business development, and wellness. The GPCC works to engage residents in ongoing community planning work around new developments. Through these core programs, the GPCC works toward healthy, affordable housing, to build wealth and equity, encourage positive business development in Garfield Park and promote continued resident engagement around green spaces, local food, and other neighborhood developments.
